Day 1 Quote: from The Best of Me

You didn’t think I would choose this for my first day of the Quote Challenge, did you? 🙂

I’m not romantic. I think I used to be, or perhaps my romanticism simply changed it’s outfit. It’s also possible that I am just being the jaded cynic that I like to portray myself to be.

The truth is that I love rom-coms; nothing beats them. I do watch dramas but I have to be wallowing in my somberness.

I didn’t know Nicholas Sparks. I know, sorry, I’m bad. Netflix introduced me to his world one lazy day when I didn’t want to do anything but vegetate in front of the television and watch movies. I like both Michelle Monaghan and James Marsden so I picked “The Best of Me”. I was glad the boys were absorbed in their online gaming because no matter how hard I tried to push back the tears, I failed miserably. (No, I will not watch The Fault in our Stars!)

The Quote

(from 4:41 to the end)

Here are my nominees 🙂
  1. Cattie’s World
  2. Anushka
  3. Ioana

Thank you so much to Grace for nominating me to participate in this great challenge. I love quotes and I often wonder which is my best and favorite. It is always a competition.

Grace has a fantastic blog and I hope you will check it out. She’s quite amazing, too. Interacting with her is truly a pleasure.

The rules for the Three Day – Three Quotes challenge are as follows:

  1. A quote will be assigned each day for three days
  2. Three different nominees will be notified each day (no repetitions)
  3. Thank the person who nominated you
  4. Inform the nominees

Thank you 🙂

    1. Are all the books (turned into movies) tragic (though not in a futile way)? I was in tears. I was a bit embarrassed. Haha! 🙂 I’ll read/watch the other stories, too.

      1. don’t run for money…….work for fun…..if we have fun at work …….money energy will come but the inner child will jump…….that is life………just start from zero and no doubts we have……then all will be good, great………we just need to be aware of here and now…..in silence all comes out.
