There is a quote that goes:
“Don’t get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.”
I’m not sure if it’s from Dolly Parton or some unknown person. Credit to whoever came up with these wise words. I decided to have my own version of the quote while my close friend, Catey, and I were chatting over email (that’s how busy we are) about how busy we are and that we shouldn’t make plans to meet up but just get together.
I’m hoping we’ll be enjoying ABBA and Queen songs at the Barnyard Theater this weekend. She’s right, we really should just meet up and not wait for the perfect time when we are both available. Pardon the cliché but life is too short to be making plans to spend time with special people in our lives. Even Nike says so, “Just do it!“
Actually this is sooo true. We cannot bring along what we made for a living with us when we expire. All the money and material stuff will just be left behind. Why not use some of it, leave some of it and donate the rest of it?

Oops, wrong place. Sorry.
We get sucked in, that’s what! Sigh! Some of us more than the other. Thus, if we have to choose, since we haven’t won the lottery yet, travelling will be the better expense than my Jimmy Choo, right? All the wants that make us forget to bask in what we have which probably matter more/most!
